Facing a very tough pitcher, the Canes offense
knocked him out after two innings and went on to a 9-1 win in a game shortened
to five innings by the run rule.
A four-run first inning set the tone for the game
and was plenty of cushion for Andrew and Bryce on the mound. The win advanced
the Canes to the quarterfinals against the MGBA Bulldogs, in a game scheduled
to be played at money time.
