After the scintillating semifinal comeback, the Canes had a quick turnaround before the championship game against a familiar opponent, Dirtbags Black. Under a rapidly warming sun, Evoshield made sure it ended quickly and took a 19-4 win in a game shortened to three innings.

- With a runner on second in the second, Ben made a good play in the outfield by getting to a ball at the fence quickly, holding the runner to third base and limiting the hitter to just a single.
