Zone Qualifier II: Canes 12, Carolina Rage 0

The Canes finished pool play with a 12-0 win over the Carolina Rage in a game shortened to four innings by the run rule.

Evoshield got great pitching from two hurlers who combined on a four-hit shutout, which was made even more effective by another error-free game. This time, there was no need to come from behind, as the Canes took a 4-0 lead in the top of the first and never looked back.

The win left the Canes with the top seed for Sunday's bracket play.
