The Canes used their highly suspicious bats to turn what would have otherwise been a narrow squeaker into a 19-4 victory over the Akadema Athletics. The game was highlighted by a 12-hit offensive attack that backed up Ty's excellent two-inning start.
It's not time for bracket play just yet, folks. There are two more pool play games tomorrow at the always comfortable and not at all bug-infested Rocky Mount Sports Complex.

Game 2 Web Gems
- A quick Wes to Colin to Chace double play ended a messy third inning.
- Great job by Gavin to get off the mound and cover first in order to take the throw from Colin for the first out of the fourth.
- Gavin got your basic 8-6 force out from center to end the fifth.
